looks like your phones a little underpowered... i have the same problem
sometimes (my phones about the same speed as yours) but your likely problem is
an out of memory error... try getting a free task killer and killing all your
apps before running, if this fails then when minedroid is starting start
spamming the menu key, you should then be able to tinker with some of the
settings, there is a chunk load range (set this to 1) and a few other options
(look at the menu wiki) then when your willing to give it a go again hit back
until a bar pops up and save it as "default" and it will auto load this, now
hit apply and if it closes on you (happens to me all the time) just start it
back up and see what you get.
minedroid WILL NOT work on all android devices but may work with some fiddling.

Got Galaxy Ace just for this app and guess what? Same thing! I swear Galaxy Ace
is much more powerful than Galaxy S...

I used to have and HTC Magic and MineDroid wouldn't work.
Recently I got a HTC Desire HD, which is 22 times faster than the HTC Magic,
and I still got a blue screen!
However, I tried a different world and it worked!

there are known issues with multi player maps but only if they have not been
opened or played in single player.

I think I disagree with you Richard.
I had copied a multiplayer world to MineDroid and it worked fine.
