Hook into the necessary filters to pass the an excerpt of the entry bio and image/photo to Facebook. Currently it is passing the directory home page details.

Question: Curious if any of the mods outlined on github for 0.7.9 will allow the specific URL of the /company/companyname page to be referenced on a facebook like/share. Right now, if I place the facebook Like code on the connections homepage, even if a user is on a company specific URL e.g. connectionshome/company/companyname ONLY the /connectionshomepage URL link is shown on facebook.

An update: I have tested this more on a 'live' site (vs. the sandbox I was working in) and the URL DOES pass through (my mistake earlier, sorry), but you can't tell as facebook only shows the connectionshome page name as the link (but when you click through it DOES go to the specific company listing.

Only 'issues' (although they are not bugs, moreso wishes) is that the facebook like/share simply shows the Featured Image of the connectionshomepage, and only the excerpt of that connectionshome page. I wish there was some way it could show the logo and excerpt that was entered on that specific listing (but that would likely necessitate an entirely different post/page for each listing, not just a different URL, right?)

For the 'Like' feature, we are still using the main facebook plugin. I have added three screen shots to show what happens.

1) shows the popup box upon the Like action. 2) shows the display of the content within the person page on facebook itself and 3) what it looks like to others who see the content in the ticker or the newsfeed.

I also added the screenshot of the info from the debug/linter for that specific URL.

Now, one thought might be the size issue. I believe that facebook will only pull images that are at least 200x200 in size. The logos we use are 200x133. This in and of itself may preclude the image from being used. I will test further.

Lastly, facebook IS simply pulling the "Featured Image" from the connectionshomepage URL, no matter which connectionshomepage/company/companyname page a visitor is on. FWIW. I'll see what happens if I remove.

Update. Changed the Image Size to 200x200 (connections settings), uploaded a new image to connections, linted the URL, and removed the connectionshomepage Featured Image. To no avail.

Now the facebook feed pulls the first 200x200 plus image from the site page, which is a sidebar ad.

I wanted to jump back into this. I updated to 3.1 and cleaned up some stuff. So now, when I am on a single company view page (clicked open from the listing), the facebook og:image seems to pull properly, and the link - while it SAYS the main website name - does actually go to the proper specific Connx entry page, but the og: description is that of the connections 'homepage' itself, NOT of the description that is placed in the Bio of the specific listing entry.

Am I forgetting how to get that info from the Bio to be the og: description?
