SCP-008/SCP-1074 #3

I was trying to infect myself with SCP-008, no matter how hard I tried I could not infect myself with it. Along with that, I could also still get effected with SCP-1074 while behind it.

As for 1074 and its range, it can get you from behind if your practically touching it shown in this picture. image However as for SCP-008 I will need more information, what was you doing at the time? What was your Gamemode/Difficulty? And most importantly How was you trying to infect yourself?

Difficulty easy, I was locked in a small room with infected 008 subjects (Class-D NPCs), Gamemode was survival at the time.

Oh yea! also, A friend told me that SCP-008 had particle effects (I never noticed it honestly) but they still wanted me to add it, So could you provide info on that as well? Thank you so much!

SCP-008 Progresses over time, if you are infected it should appear as a potion effect. It does take a while to infect the player. I've tested it with a pig and I got infected when I was close to it in survival. It took about 7 mins before I died, Hope that helps!

I'll keep this issue open as the 008 infections and 1074 bugs are to be confirmed.

The 1074 Bug could be related to #2 and I've heard a lot of reports that this is happening.

@DrJosh312 are you still having any of these issues? If not I'm going to have to close this as the 1074/012 bug is yet to be reproducible and 008 doesn't seem to be broken on my end.
