I will add another thing; I know there are some blocks that have certain textures depending on what way they face in terms of the world(?) so say a north facing texture will always be a certain way and a west facing texture will always be another way. This would be great for the stacked log blocks or light/dark birch blocks as all the logs are on the same height currently which makes the section where they "stack" not conform with where the logs actually are. Minor issue but would be cool.
Also I seem to have developed some tunnel vision and ignored the fact that you can make smaller windows with the use of stairs and slabs, but that is naturally only with full blocks.
Snow covered blocks for building rooftops would be another fine addition. Currently snow doesn't stack well, and there are no snow slabs either so the closest you can get is acting like marble is snow.
Currently the only blocks that I can see is related to it is the light and dark birch log ones, the stacked log blocks are also sort of similar but don't feature the corners. Windowslits and maaybe arrowslits would be nice, but what would be really great would be windows that in the case of the light/dark birch log blocks are the same height as one log; could be used for a small window or as a hole to let in light (very common in scandinavian laftehus from towns in the middle ages; however they were usually split between to logs). Some examples in photo 3.
Another thing that would be great if possible is having the textures work in such a way that if you place a cornerblock with the ends going out and vertical slabs you could simulate the logs sticking out, currently the textures doesn't fit together so it looks a bit funky. See photo 1.
Last off regarding textures; if you use vertical slabs with a full block or vertical slab with another vertical slab the textures fit together but they don't show any of the logs. See photo 2.
