Failed to extract secret from Hashicorp vault. #292

Hello, Working in hashicorp vault dev mode everything works fine but when I use a hashicor vault in production mode I am not able to connect ethsigner. I am using v0.6.1 but i have also tried v0.5.1 (where the error was "Failed to construct a signer from supplied arguments. Cause: Invalid response returned from Hashicorp Vault") and the latest docker build.

What could be the problem?

Hi @ARR552 , EthSigner supports Hashicorp KV Engine v2. https://www.vaultproject.io/api-docs/secret/kv/kv-v2. Can you try changing your kv to v2 and see if it solves the issue? Hashicorp in dev mode automatically uses kv-v2 engine. In production mode, the administrator of Hashicorp has to explicitly enable kv-v2. Your output suggests its using v1.

We will add a fallback mechanism in future so that we try both v2 and v1.
