1 year ago I am closing this PR since a contractor directly merged the related changes without review in f70eae941670f016613c1aefff1d61030396a121.
To the community reading this: I believe these changes conflict with the neutrality of the best practices as a public good and disagree with displaying marketing-related banners and campaign tracking anywhere. This is, however, my personal stance and does not prevent other people within the company from doing so anyway.
