Fixed the interplay between red dots and time series plot in the Shiny app

@cabhishek, the species alert tab commit looks like is what I provided to my team during the last coding session. Please, correct me if I am wrong @kramea. We have several conflicts here because I ordered and added code in a different way but it wasn't merged before the event so people coded using the previous version of the code. I'll add this species alert tab as other merge request. I'll check what the time series plot commit does.
