The nomination period for individuals to be members of the Information Security Consultative Group has closed. Nominations will now be reviewed before establishment of the group. The first meeting of the group is likely to be held in March. The specific timing is still being determined.
Note that this group is not a decision making body and will be used to focus community consultation in helping prepare decision proposals related to Information Security and other, related, issues. These proposals will then be consulted on using the normal process allowing all community members the ability to contribute their feedback before any decisions are made.
Minutes will be published in a similar manner to the minutes of the Data Standards Advisory Committee.
At the DSAC on Wednesday 14th February a proposal for a trial of an Information Security working group was discussed.
As a result of that discussion the Data Standards Chair has approved the creation of an advisory group in line with the trial proposal. This proposal is outlined in the attached Noting Paper. Noting Paper 342 - Information Security Working Group.pdf
The DSB is seeking nominations for members of the Information Security Working Group. Nominations should be sent to contact@consumerdatastandards.gov.au
Nominations will close on Wednesday 28th February.
