CDR-CX-Stream commented 1 month ago

This Noting Paper summarises the results of the workshop conducted on 28th August 2024 with Energy participants.

The workshop explored issues data recipients and consumers encounter with currently available historical electricity usage data, and whether CDR supporting LCCD may afford opportunities that include solutions to those issues. This paper outlines the key issues and benefits raised and discussed, provides an assessment and highlights the next steps.

The noting paper is attached below: Noting_Paper_357-LCCD_Benefit_Workshop_Summary.pdf

This is not a formal consultation, and feedback is not required, but may be provided.

Hi there, Sam Bendat writing on behalf of SolvingZero. Another important note that has come to light since participating in this workshop:

With the implementation of LCCD it would be ideal to also have the historical tariff rates the user has had over the historical period, two years in most cases. This will allow us and other ADRs to calculate historical costs for the user.

The benefit is the end consumer can see their historical costs and compare those to their current costs which empowers them to make more informed decisions.
