A user may want to upload images rather than topographies, and then digitize them into nonuniform line scans. (This would be cross-section, such as those obtained in a TEM.)

This would be a big improvement over other topography analysis programs. And facilitate people following our recommendation to measure roughness using electron microscopy at small scales. I think this may be a very useful improvement.
