Loading speed of landing page

Initial loading speed is a bit slow

• When I load the site on my machine (with cookies/history cleared), it takes several seconds to load.
  • I know this sounds picky, but I wish that the landing page could be lightning fast.
  • This is literally our first contact with a new person it’s not a great look if even the initial landing page is slow to load.
• Note that, when a user is using the site, I’m a bit more tolerant of slowness because we are doing them a service.
  • Also, people will understand if a heavy calculation takes a bit of time.
  • But not the initial landing page.
