Hi all
I'm new to programming. Today I installed Anaconda on my Windows 10 64-bit system. Installation was smooth. However, when I click on Jupyter notebook or Spyder in home page of Anaconda Navigator, nothing happens. The blue bar at lower right corner just moves and then nothing would happen. However, I was able to launch Jupyter notebook from Windows start menu and also from Python command line.
I tried uninstalling and installing three times, and updating my navigator and conda in command line, but nothing really worked. I have put the path correctly I think (since if I type python in cmd.exe it gives version number).
I searched github and other websites for this kind of error, but none of solution actually worked. Can anyone help?
Thank you Calvin
Actual Behavior
Anaconda Navigator fails to launch any apps, including Jupyter notebook and Spyder. However, I can launch them with command line and from Windows start menu.
Expected Behavior
Should be able to launch apps directly from Anaconda Navigator.
Steps to Reproduce
I just installed Anaconda Navigator on my desktop.
Anaconda or Miniconda version:
Operating System:
Windows 10, 64-bit
conda info
conda list --show-channel-urls
helo, I have the same problem with you, did you solve the problem afterwards?Looking forward to your reply
I have the exact same issue with the new 64-bit May 2021 navigator, There doesn't seem to be a fix published. Were you ever able to get the apps to run?
