There is no dark mode for Anaconda-Navigator interface #12400

Hi, There is no option in Anaconda navigator to set dark theme. I need dark mode because I cant watch this white background!

Please can we have this for those mature and fertile coders, too We're now on version 2.1.0 and hoping to get some dev time on the big data apps to find out how much of my inheritance goes to each of the kids and grandkids

A bright WHITE background is not conclusive to accessibility. It literally hurts some of our eyes. This request has been posted since May of 2021. Point me to the CSS and I will submit a pull request myself.

Hi, wait no longer.... Dark mode was added to Navigator in the 2.6.0 release!

Go to Preferences -> Enable Dark Mode

We're still working through a couple of cosmetic improvements whilst using Dark Mode, but let us know if you find anything that doesn't look quite right.
