Tried to update Spyder (3.3.6 -> 4.2.5 specific install) in Anaconda Navigator 1.9.7 on macOS 10.14 on a MacBook Pro 2016. It gets stuck, nothing seems to actually happen having a look in the directories, not a trace of anything 4.2.5. Fan goes up to max. Cancels and tries again. Same thing, having a look at Activity Monitor there are two Python 3.7 instances running at 100%. Quit Anaconda, still two Python instances running 100%. Log in and out of macOS, still two Pythons running 100%. Kill processes and give up.
Expected Behavior
Spyder getting updated.
Steps to Reproduce
That would be to update according to my description on the same platforms.
