True. No Jupiter tiles after update.
I had unistalled Anaconda trying to fix it. I have installed Anacoda. Jupiter was ok. Then I have updated (conda update conda, conda update --all) Anaconda on my PC (Windows 10)... NO MORE JUPITER tiles. This is not a feature, this is a bug.
Update channels index does not solve this problem. Updates (conda update something) does not solve this problem.
Anyway I can still run Jupiter by right-click on env.
I am also having the same problem. After the anaconda navigator update , I lost Jupyterlab from the virtual environment, at first. Though , Juputer notebook was there . But, now both of the Jupiter tiles disappeared .
Hi all, did you all ever find a solution to this problem? I am running into the same issue. I actually did a fresh install of Anaconda Navigator, and at first I could see the Jupyter Notebook and Jupyter Lab tiles on the Home section. Then I was prompted to update Anaconda Navigator, so I did, and then after that update completed, the Jupyter tiles are now gone. All I can see now are tiles for DataSpell, VS Code, Datalore, Deepnote, IBM Watson Studio Cloud, Oracle Data Science Service, and PyCharm Professional. Any ideas how I can get Jupyter in the mix?
Restart/refresh Navigator.
But... This way downgrade Spyder etc.
You can always run jupyter from cmd.

Since this issue is specific to installing from conda-forge, see https://github.com/conda-forge/jupyterlab-feedstock/issues/340
I updated to the most recent anaconda navigator by uninstalling and reinstalling it. However, after this I discovered that any virtual environments created thereafter do not have JupyterNotebook nor JupyterLab tile on Homepage from which I can launch the applications. Clicking Update Index on Homepage for these virtual environments did not help.
An interim I using currently is running the ipynb notebooks through VS Code. Packages installed ion these virtual environments can be accessed and used accordingly as well.
I'm not too sure how to go about getting the Jupyer Notebook and Jupyter Lab applications back onto all virtual environment. Appreciate assistance with resolving this issue. Thanks
