What happened?

After I followed this instruction "https://docs.anaconda.com/anaconda/install/windows/", I have installed Anaconda3. However, Anaconda Prompt/Navigator was nowhere to be found at the search bar. So, I followed the installation path and I found "_conda.exe" and tried to run it. The screen just appeared for a second and closed immediately. This is the content of the screen before closing.

Capture

I have tried the followings, but none of these are worked.

Expected behavior or outcome

I expect to see Anaconda applications appear on the search list and Anaconda Navigator to install Jupyter Notebook.

I am very sorry, I still haven't been able to solve the problem.

Dear @blue7012 ! I managed to solve this problem, actually I think I know what causes it (for me it's worked): if your folder name contains any special character then the installing will fail, try to install the anaconda in a folder which does not contain any special character.

Dear @miklosbm ,

I have considered that possibility. However, my installation path does not contain special characters (I wonder if capital letters count) and it is as short as possible. You can see this on my screenshot I posted.

Anyways, I thank you greatly for replying to me.

Yours sincerely,

Dear @blue7012,

Yes I can see it. I do not think the capital letters count, because here is my path where I installed the Anaconda and it worked: C:\Anaconda\Anaconda3 .

You are welcome and thank you for the detailed report!

Dear @miklosbm ,

I never consider trying a new installation path. I am going to try this but it will take a while because I have to clean up my computer.

I will message you about how well it work tomorrow. Thank you so much for helping me!

@blue7012 I wa not sure either if it could work this way but it is working properly, I also created a virtual environment and there was no problem.

Looking forward to your reply!

Dear @miklosbm ,

I have tried but I still encountered this issue. It seems to me that there is something wrong with my computer but I can't figure this out. Luckily, I have found another method of using Jupyter Notebook (by using Visual Code) so I will make do with that.

Thank you for your assistance!

Best wishes,
