May I add that duckdb has been downloaded from pypi more than 1.6 million times last month, so anaconda users could benefit from it being pre-packaged. Also, there are no external dependencies, which should make the the built setup rather trivial.

Dream: Python-on-Excel for every Excel user, via a WASM Distro with duckDB, provided per Anaconda

Guess is it would:

• be more powerfull than Pandas, given the 4go WASM memory
• gives vitamines to Excel, Powerbi, Python and WASM communities, and Anaconda image in Entreprise
• be more inclusive for low-bandwith internet countries or schools, ...

The latest DuckDB release is v0.10.0 and it now supports Python 3.12.
