On the dashboard, we have links about webs to learn Ruby/Rails, but I think it would be more helpful to add some links about the basics of contributing to open source, a bit like what they have for Hacktoberfest here: https://hacktoberfest.com/participation/
I think most people who want to get into open source have no idea how to find issues/how to claim an issue/how to create a PR to tackle the issue so I think this would be helpful. Not sure about the design, I feel like this will be too much if we just add it on top of the list of other links. Maybe there could be a tab for ressources about getting started with open source and another for more generic tutorial websites, or maybe the ressources should already be accessible on the first page so people can see even without having an account that this is a place where they can find centralised information about contributing. I'll think about it but if anyone has ideas I'm all ears.
