2 days ago I think there's definitely some more room for adding customisation here, like offering an option to rank by similarity or manually order the elements. I do agree that the current system is a bit unusual, I'll have a look into what I can do.
Currently, search suggestions and URL/history completions are shown separately, and users must choose one type in settings I suggesgt to Combine these into a single, unified list that shows both search suggestions and URL/history completions together, making it easier to find what you're looking for without switching between different suggestion types This is how it work in other browsers Search suggestions typically appear at the top, showing 3 or more recommendations. If the entered text matches an URL from history, it will also be displayed in the results (with the page title), rankings based on similarity to the search term.
