Stuck on Easter #7

Cookie Clicker: v1.0465 Cookie Monster: Used bookmarklet and "updater" from Cookie Clicker Wiki entry on this addon; also tried the Userscript version Browser: Chrome 35.0.1916.114 m OS: Windows 8.1 Update 1 x64 Pro

Every time I load Cookie Monster, I'm on Easter by default with no timer, just "Season: Easter" and it's permanent. I unlocked the Season Switcher and changed to Christmas--after that there was a proper timer. Otherwise, permanent Easter.

In the current version of Cookie Clicker, the base season is Easter. Are you saying when you load Cookie Monster, it switches from Christmas season back to Easter? Also, can I get a screen shot and/or your save data?

That's news to me. Looks like this isn't a problem with Cookie Monster (unless the base season is also supposed to time out which it doesn't show that it will).

Yea, if you look at the code, it says Game.baseSeason='easter'. The base season isn't suppose to time out. But if you buy the season that is the same as the base season, a timer will show, but after the timer ends, it will just stay in that base season, since it is the base season. Hopefully that wasn't too confusing, lol. Anyway, do you think this is still a bug? Aka, can I close this?

I had no idea the game had a base season, and Googling showed me results that said "Watch your extensions because they can cause these things."
