Here's some more: Screenshot_2021-10-18-01-32-12-47

same issue, restart add-on can work around fix this, but sometime not fix.

coolkit-tony commented 2 years ago

Hello, @TTLucian @zold. Can you confirm that these devices are under your current login account (default family)?

TTLucian commented 2 years ago

Of course they are.

coolkit-tony commented 2 years ago

And current default family?

TTLucian commented 2 years ago

I don't know what "default family" is. All I can tell you is that the devices were paired under my account and shared with my family members. The addon uses my account. While both android app and eWeLink Web are working correctly, the HA addon is fussy, meaning that sometimes some devices appear like the attached screenshots. Upon addon manual restart, sometimes the devices appear correctly but not always. It's random. First screenshot was taken after HA restart (only one device had problems). Second screenshot was taken after addon manual restart (5 devices had problems). This behavoiur is not consistent, meaning that sometimes (rarely) all devices are ok. For example, at this very moment 6 devices have problems: Untitled

TTLucian commented 2 years ago

Again, after addon manual restart, only 3 devices have problems Untitled

TTLucian commented 2 years ago

I've just noticed that if I toggle on/off the device with problems and then immediately restart the addon, the error goes away.

zold commented 2 years ago

@coolkit-tony Yes, these devices are under me current login account. but I don't sure about "default family", Are you mean multiple home management?

coolkit-tony commented 2 years ago

Yes. The ha-addon will display the devices found in the LAN as well as the devices in the default home under your account.

For example: image Device "door" and device "1000d4f40a" are in the same LAN. Because "1000d4f40a" is under my colleague's account, I cannot control it.

TTLucian commented 2 years ago

I don't know why you closed this. I'm sorry if my earlier comment confused you. The error is back again after addon or HA restart. Random switches (one or more, both BASIC and RFR3) are shown as "not under your account".

coolkit-tony commented 2 years ago

Hello, @TTLucian. The strategies for displaying devices are different between ha-addon and eWeLink App. The current version of ha-addon will display devices in the default home, but eWeLink App will display all.

For example: baz I have two homes in this picture.

Could you please confirm that these "not under your account" devices are in your default home?

TTLucian commented 2 years ago

As I've stated before, all devices are (were) paired under one (my) account and one home. All devices are and always have been in just one, same home, same account, same LAN, same network for as long as I've had them (2-3 years). Just for testing purposes I've reset and re-paired some of them (3 of the ones with errors) just to see if the problem persists. This error first appeared on version 1.2.2 of the addon. I'll keep watching their status and report any problems. Thanks! Screenshot_2021-10-21-05-46-01-23

coolkit-tony commented 2 years ago

I am sorry for these bugs. I will try to reproduce them with more devices.

TTLucian commented 2 years ago

I've deleted and added again the devices which presented this error and they have worked fine for the last weeks. However, today I've noticed another 2 devices with the same error. One of them was previously deleted and added again. Sometimes all it takes for the error to go away is to do a refresh in the addon page or restart the addon but this does not work all the time.

comprido commented 2 years ago

I have shared all my devices with my wifes account (can see in her ewelink account all of them), however if I use my wife account in home assistant only some devices will show. Please note that if I use my main account (all devices will be visible)

GeoffMorg commented 2 years ago

I'm seeing this issue. Four devices in particular, two Minis, a Basic and a Basic R3. The Basic R3 is for my screens. If I restart the add-on it is fine but if I then manually turn the screen off more often than not it goes into this state. All the time it is OK in the Android app and in Google Home. They are all correctly set up in one Home and I am the only user. I've already been through deleting and re-adding the devices, and re-installing the add-on. It is immensely frustrating.

Addon version is 1.2.3 HA version is 2022.2.3

Is there any log which might help?

GeoffMorg commented 2 years ago

I seem to have managed to clear the problem. I suspect something internal got corrupted.

All I did was refresh on the UI page.

It's odd that I did that AFTER I deleted the add-on and re-added it and still saw the problem.

TTLucian commented 2 years ago

The problem still persists. Random devices appear as "not under your account" despite all of them showing up and working well in ewelink android app.
