Hello, @va4ok. Are device "water heater socket" and ha-addon on the same LAN?
Hi, @coolkit-tony
Yes, they are in the same LAN as well as others devices (please see first screenshot).
Hi, @va4ok. I tested this issue yesterday. This occurs when the ha-addon does not receive some packets sent from the device. Wait a moment or click the refresh button would help.
Hi @coolkit-tony This issue all time i've used the addon (more than 2 months) i've tried refresh addon, install every new version, wait for a week, reboot device and all the same. Other devices work correct except this one =) One thing i not tested is remove device from account and add one more time. Believe need to test the case. i'll test and write in a day.
and the same
If you only want the device to run on the local area network, what you need a device that supports DIY MODE.
Both App and HA add-on LAN are based on MDNS, and the LAN icon will be displayed only if the multicast message is searched. You can try to use the packet grabbing tool to see if eWeLink_ 1001059333 exists in MDNS messages? Multicast messages are not stable, and there may be delays in UI refresh.
For daily use, you don't have to care too much about local area network or cloud control.
Yeah service is registered but nothing changed in HA (last reboot more than 2 days ago) Looks like a minor bug.
But if it won't be fixed let's close as is.
Guys, any updates? I have same isues with all Sonoff devices (dont working via LAN, only via cloud)
Please try to use the latest version, we have done some optimization.
If you still have this problem, please reopen the issue; If you have other problems, you can create a new issue
For some reason one of my devices shown as not LAN in HA plugin but in mobile eWeLink app it shows correct. (please see screenshots). So it causes status delay or commands delay.
HA core-2021.10.5 (and earlier) eWeLink Smart Home plugin version: 1.2.3 (and earlier)
Is it possible to configure plugin to use LAN connection instead of cloud?
