great program, uses only 6mb of ram, which is barely nothing specially when compared to alternatives like courier and my personal list which, as electron programs, consume vasts amounts of ram to do the same thing.

i have 3 suggestions:

1 - add manga and/or light novel support

2 - make it so that you can add, remove, edit entries yourself, without the need of any external website

3 - add MAL and Anidb support

an issue: after first use, the program wouldn't start anymore. it turns out you need to erase its app data folder for it to be able to start again - maybe it's because I have no anilist token or folders set?

well... after doing that, the program will now open even with the app data folder. that's nice I guess.

Hey, thanks for trying my anime list updater. For you suggestions 1. Ill probably add the ability to view information on manga/light novels because they're accessible from the related tab, but tracking updates is outside the scope of this program and it's better done by apps like Tachiyomi. 2. you can already do this unless there is a bug. 3. Possibly in a future update.

For your issue ill keep an eye out for anything locking the program on startup.

That's fine. I'd already be satisfied with a program that had no 3rd party-related updates at all (only manual entries).

Really? I can't find an option to add entry anywhere.

Alright. Well, it's not a dealbreaker, because I can simply export to anilist then to gekijou, but if someone wanted to track their MAL or Anidb usage automatically, they would have to either start using anilist or cry. I, for instance, don't have an anilist account.

Well I seemed to have fixed it by deleting the appdata folder but now it won't start again. Not sure why, it shows no error boxes or anything. And even after deleting the appdata it won't start.

So, I've reinstalled it, and it opened, but now again it doesn't want to open but, instead of nothing showing up, this loading page appears:

It also doesn't seem to do anything with the paths I provided. Maybe it requires the anime to be in a specific folder structure and name structure?

It's under the my list section when you view a anime. If you're talking about an anime that is not on anilist it won't work, the show needs to be on anilist.

Double check if the files in appdata are deleted. The only thing that happens during the loading screen is loading data from those files.

As long as the files have the name of the anime in them it should work. The UI doesn't do a good job of telling you when it scans for episodes but you can force a scan by reopening the program.
