Support for USFM files would certainly be useful.

I have a need to generate versification mappings for Bibles stored in databases and in the file system in the USFM format. Since the current code in versification sniffing is compatible only with USX, I wrote a script
sniffer.py
which accept USFMs, CSVs, list of verses along with USX, copying the core logic related to actual verification mapping rules from the existing code inusx2versification.py
.I see that the program is still in development and there may be more changes/updates coming up to the logic. As that cannot be automatically merged to the program I wrote, I believe it best to share my code, letting you know of my requirements and the changes I have in mind.
This PR is meant as a request to consider accommodating multiple input formats. Let me know what you think.
