Ways to extend the model? #1

Hi Guys,

First of all great work with the Coptic translator, it's very helpful.

I am working on a different project for digitalizing old Coptic books and translating them.

The OCRing is done by machine learning but then a real human review and correct mistakes and those corrections are fedback to the training model.

Translation is 100% manual work but I am hoping I could use your model to do the same (get initial translation, a human does corrections, feedback the corrections to the model).

Problem is I have no idea how to do that. A collaboration would be great if you are interested (My project is also open source). But guiding me to the right direction would also be great.

Hi, I'd love to help. I'm currently pursuing a master's in AI starting this Fall, and I would love to put this knowledge to good use

That's exciting. If you could do all that without master, I wonder what you could do after :)

The thing I need help with is how to train the model with new data without having to rely on external servers like amazon ?
