camera movements feel low frame rate #2

I'm aware that this might be an optimisation of the mod but I'm just wondering if the camera tilt and etc can be used at highered frame rates without feeling laggy, I might add that I'm used to 144hz so it might just be a non issue where the camera isn't that laggy but it just feels as that to me due to the refresh rate I've been using.

If you use sneak animation mod try to play without it, or another solution is to set fps to v-sync in videosetting.

Setting it to v-sync doesn't solve the jitter/lag/choppiness. It's just strange it would be so choppy, like the camera only updates its rotation a few times during the animation.

I should add that i'm using a 144hz monitor, not sure if that has anything to do with it.

Hello, I have the same problem with a drop in frame rate, can you clarify what (v-sync) is? I've been over the whole Internet, but I haven't found it.

I am also experiencing this issue with the mod.

Nobody is going to fix it. Dev doesn't care. Give up

Camawama commented 1 year ago

My brother found a fix I think it works. Make sure you cap your FPS at the exact refresh rate of the monitor. Disable VSync as well.

Jetpack-Cat commented 1 year ago

That didn't fix it

Yeah, turns out my monitor refresh rate was messed up. It definitely is not fixed...
