Form Functionality

Value proposition

As a User I want to be able to submit a form So that the a new goal is created

Description

Acceptance criteria

[x] When clicking the submit button the form data should be validated and processed.
[x] A new goal should be created with the submitted data and added to the list of goals on the goal list page
[x] After submitting, the User should be redirected to the goal list page
[ ] The goal shouldn't be visible as I will implement the localStorage capability in the next US

Hey Cornelius.

I like that you made a separate US for your form functionality👍

I have some suggestions: Maybe you could give your US a more specific title (e.g. "From submit functionality")? You can also rename this title "List of goals" in sth. more related to your US. How about combining your second and third criteria?

Hey Alex,

thank you for the Feedback, I changed my US accordingly.

Regarding the splitting of the Form itself and the functionality, I just had a conversation with Jessica about this and she reminded me that this technically doesn't make a lot of sense but in this case it is "ok". So I wouldn't recommend it 😄

OK😅 I thought I did it wrong, because I did the form itself and it's functionality in one US and it made the scope of tasks very large. But you are right. Work on the form and its functionality in one US might be better, even if it makes the US more complex.

You US looks good now👍

Well, turns out the goal is visible until I refresh the page so I guess that I technically failed the last step 😃 it seems I need to work on my localState understanding
