Basically it's wherever a prescription is filled. In the US, that would generally be a pharmacy
So it would be "Apotheke" in german, but the whole field would also be irrelevant in german, because here it does not really matter which pharmacy you go to. We do not have that (totally broken) part of the US healthcare system where you have different networks & coverages and can only go to XYZ providers and so on...
Ah, that makes sense, and I'm glad it isn't as broken in Germany as it is in the US

That isn't US-specific. Here in the Netherlands, you can choose to go to a different pharmacy (‘apotheek’), but you might have to pay to pick up your medication if you do. So you basically want to register yourself at a pharmacy that's covered by your insurance and most of the medication will be fully or almost fully covered, but not neccesarily if you go to another one. Some pharmacies do not have proper contracts with some pharmaceuticals or some insurance companies, and a couple of insurance companies have budget insurance that only covers some pharmacies, but not all. And even if your pharmacy is contracted, the contract can change at some point. So if you're unlucky, you might have to turn to a different pharmacy anyway.
I like the German system a whole lot better.
More on topic though: it might not matter much in Germany which pharmacy you go to, but it could still be a relevant field for people with memory issues, so that they don't have to make an unneccesary trip all over town looking for a pharmacy because they forgot which one they usually go to, but just go to their closest pharmacy instead.
@QueerCodingGirl Actually, it is still slightly relevant in Germany. The pharmacy could have to order your medication, and you've to go there a 2nd time (often same day, though), or you could be using a delivery service. Or if you're privately insured (or if it is a supplement), there could be differences in pricing...
Just put You or "Me" (the person in the mirror) there. The person that gave it to you.
As my Father would say to me, "aus machen den Fernsehen, bitte."

What should be filled in in the field pharmacy? I use the German version of your beautiful app. The field pharmacy is there translated with Pharmazie. That's correct but doesn't make sense. As the the word pharmacy has some other significations in German, I would like to know what should be entered there, for looking for better name for this field in German.
