HSC star catalogue comparison

We are using HSC SSP Y1 data provided by @WentaoLuo. The HectoMAP field overlaps with UNIONS.

Goals:

• Compare UNIONS and HSC star catalogues, check completeness and purity.
• Look at color and other information from HSC.

Next steps:

• Get HSC mask, use SP mask to better define common footprint.
• Get additional properties in SP star cat (magnitude, SNR, …)
• Use all stars, not just validation set
• Study influence of SP setting on size and purity of star sample
