This adds an experimental beat indicator in place of the old beat progress bar at the bottom of the screen. Idea is to show where you currently are in the beat (although it moves too fast to be very useful) as well as where the last key press was within the beat.
I'm not sure I'm a huge fan - however it does help indicate to the player why the game rejected their input which may alleviate the issue of people saying the game feels unresponsive.
I'm not going to be offended if this isn't merged - but it was an interesting experiment for an alternative HUD, take a look and see what you think.
