The class that is used to handle the script has not been supported by the author for a long time, and he does not recommend using it.

This project is unmaintained. I stopped using it years ago. You shouldn't use it. You shouldn't use any version of JSMin. There are much better tools available now.

jsmin.php is pretty fine port of JSMin. It's fast enough and tiny. And gets work done in most cases. As for near future it may be updated to old but latest v1.1.2.

To change it we need some equivalent replacement. So you can make a suggestion.

Some other tiny minifiers:

but all of it is plenty old and untested for our use.
