Strong verification frontend #4413

Should include:

  1. Three-step form for submitting details
  2. Periodic polling of backend for verification status
  3. Display of verification status

I'm going to be out for the next two weeks at least, and unsure if I will have time immediately after to commit to doing this on a decent time scale so maybe not for the time being 😅 will post if that changes!
