Something is causing the vaccum chamber to leak slowly. It is most likely coming from the valves, but there's a lot of places it can come from.

The source of the leak has not been determined. However, the leak as been mitigated enough to begin testing. While in all likelihood the leak is coming from the umbilical, the exact source is still hard to tell. By periodically running the air pump, we can retain our desired pressure, just with a careful eye on the pressure.

Somewhere between the metal plates and the valve there is still a very slow leak in the vacuum chamber. Currently, the leak only matters for long term experiments. And it has been determined that the optimal solution would be to run the pump occasional to return the chamber to the desired level.
