Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. Yes, the issue arises due to the lack of visual consistency between the login page and the main dashboard page. This inconsistency creates a jarring user experience, especially when transitioning from the login screen to the main dashboard. Users might feel disconnected as the design elements, headers, and overall layout drastically change, making it difficult to recognize the platform's branding and reducing ease of navigation.
For instance, when I log in, I expect to see a similar design structure, such as headers, navigational elements, or a cohesive color scheme, that aligns with the rest of the platform. The login page feels too simplistic and out of sync compared to the more comprehensive and vibrant design of the main page, leading to frustration when moving between the two.
Describe the solution you'd like
I would like to see a more cohesive design for the login page that aligns with the overall platform’s look and feel. The login page should feature elements similar to the main dashboard, such as a header with minimal navigation options like "About Us," "Help," or "Contact Us," even if they are non-clickable until login. This would help maintain consistency in the user experience. Additionally, the color scheme, font styles, and button designs on the login page should reflect those used on the main dashboard. By incorporating these design changes, the login page will feel more connected to the rest of the platform, creating a smoother, more professional transition when users log in.
Describe alternatives you've considered
An alternative is to enhance the branding on the login page by adding the platform’s logo and key visual elements without changing its simplicity. Another option is to streamline the dashboard header to match the minimal design of the login page.
