Post your courseplay.xml
from savegame1. The log states it can't be read as it is malformed.
Notepad was churning with no end in sight, so I opened the file in a word processor. While that too took a while to open, I finally discovered that the courseplay.xml file was over 600 pages long, the large majority of which was literally hundreds of pages of the "#" character.
I made a copy of that file, deleted it from the savegame folder, allowed the file to be regenerated, then copied a small portion of the original file (the part that looked "good") as a test. Those courses looked good, so it looks like I can recreate much of my work by pasting back the undamaged parts of the file.

It would still be interesting to find out what caused the bad parsing. Nonetheless, if it's working now, I'll close this.
The problem first occurred immediately after I had to do an abnormal/forced shutdown of my system. My game play was saved, so I lost no progress, but that may have somehow triggered the issue.
Thanks for the mod, and the excellent support!

I am having an issue where the CP mod asked me about field scanning and helper pay every time I launch the game. Additionally, all saved tracks disappear every time the game is relaunched, and must be re-recorded. Log text pasted below.
