Make it configuable to repeat on long press #112

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

The current behavior is ideal for many people and most uses but it would be
handy to have the option to make it so e.g. holding 'j' sends a stream of j
keypresses. I.e. while running vi. That probabky sounds easy untilnsupporting
the extra keys cone to mind.

Yes, I do plan to support this, but it'll need some code changes as a
prerequisite. I'm not a huge fan of the long-press myself since it's slow. I'll
revisit this once I make more progress on the configurable key maps.

The latest prerelease has configurable long-press popups, including a choice to
disable popups and enabling auto-repeat instead.

Try 1.28rc20 (or later) from
http://code.google.com/p/hackerskeyboard/downloads/list, and please let me know
how that works for you.

[Bulk bug update] The new Market release 1.29 includes the changes from the
v1.28 prerelease series, and these "FixInTest" issues should now be fixed. If
not, please reopen the bug with additional information. If the original bug
covered multiple separate issues that aren't all addressed, please open new
bug(s) for the leftover ones.

Bulk update - changing "Fixed" to "Verified" for old bugs.

(Background: I'm changing the "Fixed" status to be considered open, the next
steps in the lifecycle will be the closed states "FixInTest" and "Verified".
This lets me mark issues as "Fixed" in commit messages without hiding them from
the issue tracker.)
