support auto text with user-defined abbreviations?

Consider adding an auto text feature where user-defined abbreviations get 
expanded to replacement text.

The auto text should include support for dynamic entries such as time and date 
in a user-configurable format, and special characters including Tab and 
newlines.

It could be great to have a custom abreviation functionality, because, by 
example, it's impossible right now to save strigs with dot/puntuations inside, 
i mean, an email account by example

It's fairly high on my TODO list, I want that feature myself, for example it 
would be useful for URLs in support responses.
