6.11.1328 thermal zone temp bug #241

Open MysticalOS opened 10 years ago

Prior to this update I had no issues with these two sensors but since updating to 6.11.1328 on 10.9.4, now these sensors are always 116C. I can assure you. I'd notice if something in there was 116C. Something is way off in some calculations or sensor reading here that worked fine in previous release.

As you can see from other sensors, computer is in a very idle state with cpu and gpu in full rest and low temp, there is no way for that thermal zone :)

Nothing changed since previous revision that can influence Thermal Zone sensors (ACPISensors plugin). Try to rebuild your kernel cache

You know what, I don't think those ever worked they just usually say 0C and not 116 and I didn't notice it because 0 doesn't set of alarms like 116 does. So maybe I just need to send you whatever you need for my z87 gigabyte OC-Force to figure out why it has two unsupported sensors?

I think these TZ sensors report wrong values = they doesn't functioning. Just ACPI artifacts like on most desktop mobos

I have a similar unbelievable "CPU Heatsink" value on my ASUS Z97-K. I assume this is also a non-fixable non-issue? untitled 2
