Does not recognise overclock #78

Overclocked using multipliers and now updated and HWmontior only shows max of 3.4ghz. It is running at 4.1ghz in the bios i5 3570k GA-Z77-DS3H

Are you sure OSX lets your CPU work at its maximum frequency? FakeSMC may not be at fault here.

yeah the last version of FakeSMC and HWmonitor used it very well. I am also getting lower geekbench scores so it must be affecting it.

I have sorted it, seems for some unknown reason I had a problem with some kexts. Strange as it only happened when I updated FakeSMC.

I was missing AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext AppleIntelCPUPowerManagementClient.kext

Reinstalled these and now it works.
