Configuration file not completely read #64

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. create a configuration with "dos" line breaks.
2. Add an extra blank line midway through the file
3. Lines following the blank line will be ignored.

In particular, I tried this with a configuration file that had all entries
in one "group" of lines, followed by a blank, followed by the "up" and
"down" directives. The scripts were not called. Removing the blank line
caused Tunnelblick to execute the scripts at appropriate points.

Tunnelblick 3.0b10 on OS X 10.5.6 Intel.

This is most likely an issue with openvpn itself.

I agree that this would be an OpenVPN issue, but I can't reproduce it.

I have configuration files with 0x0d0a0d0a in them (i.e., CR/LF/CR/LF -- two
consecutive DOS line breaks),
and they work fine.

Is it possible that there were some other non-printable characters (Formfeeds,
tabs, etc.) that caused the
problem?

Can you attach a config file that exhibits this problem? (Obfuscate IP
addresses as needed, of course.)

Thanks.

I no longer use Tunnelblick, and don't have any config files on hand. Sorry
about that.
