After fetching channel pages, XBMC hangs on 'working'

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Get a recent nightly: eg 28256, but had the same with other builds too
2. Install latest xot-uitzendinggemist version: XOT-Uzg.v3.2.0b7.zip
3. Apply latest channel updates from this google site.
4. Try to open Ned. 1, 2, or 3, rtl, actually, almost all channels.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The expected output is a list of tv programmes. What I see instead is a 
'Working' loading sign 
cirkeling around for ever, and a extremely high cpu usage.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard.

Please provide any additional information below.
I'll attach the logs, hopefully you can get something useful out of it.

Sorry, I've been stupid for a long time, running it as a plugin, now I've 
installed it as a script, all works fine. I 
suggest making an installation guide so noobs like me will be helped.
