Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What channel are you trying to watch?
RTL

What episode are you trying to watch?
all

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
A double slash (/\). Program doesnt open channel, I only see an empty list

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Just open an RTL program ;)
2.
3.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Please provide any additional information below.

Please ATTACH a complete uzg.log or uzgplugin.log.

First: did you update the RTL channel? See here how to do that?
http://www.rieter.net/pages/XOT:FAQ#How_can_I_update_channels.3F

Second: I don't understand your issue, it all seems to work here. What do you
mean with "A double slash (/\)"? Could you give an example? Name at least 5
programs that do not work.

Last: your uzg.log only shows you opening XOT and then closing it! So it's not
really usefull. Open XOT and then the 5 programs that do not work. Then close
XOT and attach the logfile then.

Yes, all the latest updates.
I mean, if I click on a program (it's every program), a popup is coming up
(with loading), I see the server address, but in the middle of the address I
see a double slash, like this:

rtl.nl/media/\programs\filelist.xml

Than the popup is closing and I see an empty list on the program's page (where
normally the episodes appear).

Every program of every RTL channel is not working. I will post a better
uzg.log, but I'm not at home right now ;)

Not every program is not working. The problem is that RTL just shows all the
programs they broadcast in their listing, but not all of them have episodes
online. It's impossible to distinguish them from the RTL list. That is why they
show up.

The "/\" is just the XBMC way of shortening the long URL's for display purposes.

Okay. I just clicked on 'common' programs, like All you need is love or oh oh
cherso... but no episodes :)

I checked "Oh oh cherso" and it works. Are you sure you updated the latest RTL
channel (so don't download a new XOT, because it's not in there yet), just use
the build-in channel updater in XOT.

And if you could an uzg.log from an situation that gives you this problem.

I first updated the channels by FTP, that didn't solved it. Now I used the
updater inside the script and now it works :) But only the small movies, if I
want to watch a whole episode, it loads the stream, but the screen becomes
black. No episode. The small movies with the characters works fine (oh oh
cherso). The iPad streams works perfectly, even the normal episodes. That's
also good quality, so it's fine :)

I attached a better uzg.log.

The logfile looks fine. I guess updating the channnels using the updater worked
(probably updated them in the wrong location via ftp).

That log episodes have DRM which is not supported by XBMC. Try the RTL channel
for Ipad (iRTL) that does not have DRM (See here:
http://www.rieter.net/pages/XOT:FAQ#Playback_of_certain_streams_give_.27scramble
d.27_images).

Let me know if I can close this issue.
