Odd Bug #3

yonvalentine commented 2 weeks ago

Turned on the deck today, straight into desktop as usual, and when I tried to open steam, it would process for a second and then nothing would happen. I tried restarting the deck and that did nothing. I force ended the Steam application and that let me open Steam, but it would just sit at the "logging in" screen, the loading icon spinning endlessly. I tried to go straight into gaming mode, and it would cut desktop mode, and after about 15 seconds just open desktop mode again. Eventually I figured sticky might be the problem, so I ran the uninstall and restarted my machine and, lo and behold, it opened to gaming mode. I like the plugin a lot, so I hope this can get fixed. Sorry I don't have any logs or hard data to work with.

Hey there!

Thank you for getting in touch, I appreciate any feedback and I'm really happy to hear that you've been enjoying the plugin.

My first guess is that the executable "return to gaming mode" uses might have been edited by a software update. I will look into it when I get time.

Hopefully it is working for you on a clean install? Thank you again for raising this issue!

All the best, Angus
