Currently the leave application system automatically calculates the leave duration and excludes public holidays. However, if an employee applies for leave, gets it approved, and then the public holiday list is updated, the system does not update the leave duration for that employee.
We suggest implementing a feature that updates the leave duration after any updates to the public holiday list. This will ensure accurate leave management and prevent any confusion. A resync job can be used to update the leave durations of all approved leaves if there are any changes in the public holiday list.
