Description of the issue:
After re-install I reproduced my old settings, but when I tried to rip some
new songs in the playlist, "scanning started" - but never ends, list gets
longer and longer with the same songs all over again...

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. set storage directory/set "skip existing music"
2. Logged in/choosing playlist
3. tune in

What is the expected output?
Ripping new playlist songs

GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR SYSTEM:

TheLastRipper version? 1.4
Mono/.Net runtime version? 3.5
Operating system and version? XP SP2

I am having this same problem. The playlist is being pulled from last.fm too
frequently. if you pull too frequently, it will resend you the SAME playlist
again.
To solve this, in "File->Settings->Playlist(Tab)" have an option to set a
minimum
delay in ms between pulls. I have seen other programs have this and their
delay is
about 2700ms or so. That seems to eliminate the duplicate playlist pulls.

Please implement the delay ASAP so I can use this nice application again.

I too am having this same issue. I believe the fix that Alan suggested would
alleviate the problem. This problem makes the application unusable. Please fix
this
ASAP so I can use this amazing application again as well.
