The ability to listen to the Last.fm input would be a good feature addition 
 to thelastripper as people will be able to listen and save at the same 
time. One simple way to implement it is to listen on a specified port and 
when someone connects stream the input out directly thereby acting in a 
manner similar to last.fm proxy.

At least with windows this works using 127.0.0.1:8000 usinge i.e. winamp
