TheLastRipper was developed in a gnome environment, with MonoDevelop, I've just
used
the icons available under that setting...
But I guess that TheLastRipper might be dependent on some of the gnome icon
files...
I think you could solve this by installing Gnome along side your KDE. That would
probably install the missing icon files. But if you're able to see which package
contains the gnome icons, I think that package would do... On my Ubuntu system
the
stock_media-play icons is provided by gnome-icon-theme, try and see if you can
install that...
Alternatively you could just check the lasted version out of SVN, and modify the
icons using MonoDevelop (MonoDevelop has an GUI editor, so it's not hard to
do)...
If you figure out how to fix this issue I would like to know, perhaps I should
add
another dependency...

ive been trying to fix this issue for awhile and nobody on the forum could
figure out
how to fix this :( I did install gnome-icon-theme.noarch but it didn't help
me.. I
also tried moving that stock_media-play file in default kde folder or w/e it
was but
it didn't seem to do anything.. of course I found out that it was linked to a
theme
for kde I wasn't using but can't access it through the menu so im at a stand
still at
the moment

Okay, I've removed all icons from thelastripper and packaged it in a tarball...
(File attached).
Try an see if you can install and run it...

Well, I'm probably not going to post the 1.0.3-alpha...
But I might want to include my own icons for all buttons, when during the next
release..
By including my own I mean forking some from openclipart.org :)

nothing wrong with that ;) if I may make a suggestion? instead of auto recording
maybe have it temporary get the song and if you don't like it then hit stop or
something and add search for similar artists and when it's getting the song
have it
play at the same time? sorry.. im just on the hunt for finding a lastfm third
party
app that would do that type of thing ;) all im after is a list of artists and
lastfm
site doesn't show you all of them.. thanks again <3

Actually audio playback is planed for the next major release... But I'm not sure
about the search features, perhaps sometime in the furture... Most last.fm
players
has that kind of functionality anyway...

A new version have been released with gnome-icon-theme as dependency. This issue
shouldn't be an issue to users using a package or installing following the
installation instructions found in our wiki.
