TheLastRipper Can't save Last.fm streams in mp3 files. #32

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open the ThelastRipper
2. Wait until the song is over
3. There is no MP3 file saved on music directory

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
It should be mp3 files on my "Music" directory

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Linux 1.0.2
Ubuntu 7.04 (Feisty) 64bits

Please provide any additional information below.

I try to change the download folder but nothing seems to happen. I also did
try to search for the config files to manually correct some
misconfiguration, but i couldn't find these file.

I removed, purged thelastripper many times but after every new installation
it appears to "read" my login from somewhere.

I even install mono, and nothing.

Look at my answer here:

I think the 2 issues are one and the same, or caused by the same thing... Thus
I'm
closing this one... :)

Just for the record, the config file is the result of a binary serialization and
can't be edited manually... Though it may be deleted, it's saved in the mono
speciel
folder for config files... Usually ~/.config/TheLastRipper.conf
