Add a redirector so that if IP address of PI is added on the PS4 as DNS server it redirects the user guide to exploit page #5

Is this a clean re-implementation of the Jenkins solution or a fork? That's not clear.

This fork below works 100%, including automatic mode and redirect from the Guide (using PSFree):

No this is different, this is raspberryOS with support for PS jailbreaking

OK, thanks for the info. At this point the only reason I'd change what I have set up right now, running on Zero 2W, is if someone made a solution to run on a PicoW.

We can now move to the new jailbreak no?

ghost commented 4 months ago

Well with the PPPwn exploit I guess we don't need this now

If you're on FW9.00, don't update to a newer firmware. Stay on 9.

But yes, you can obviously use PPPwn if the payloads for 9.00 are included in the version you download. Just keep in mind that the process to JB with PPPwn can be much slower - if it takes multiple attempts you'll be waiting minutes for the JB, not just seconds.

Plus with RPi connected to the ethernet port on the PS4 you'll loose the ability to connect to your WAN/Internet. At least until someone bridges the PPPoe connection.

Yeah I don't intend to move further after hearing what Al azif may have for us in the future
