The app is causing monitor re-sync #72

Hello, On launch and with any graphical data refresh, the application causes the monitor to re-synchronize with the PC. It's very annoying as the screen goes black for a couple of seconds, and then I have to restore the display mode to recover the correct monitor color space.

It's absolutely not clear what the application has to do with the display mode/syncronization at all.
